A Celebration of Life will be held from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on May 13, 2023 at the Old Spencer Mill in Burns, TN. (399 Old Spencer Rd.)
Sherry Lynn Lampley, age 66, of Bon Aqua, TN, passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2023 at Alive Hospice in Nashville.
Sherry was born on April 18, 1956 in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Ernest Walter Papp and Mary Ellen Flynn Papp. She worked in cleaning services for homes all over. She loved to cook and listen to music. She enjoyed writing poems and was a talented artist. She loved her dog “Coco”, but her favorite thing was being at the creek. Her favorite spot was off Doug Hill Rd., near Spencer Mill; it was the “center of the universe” for her.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Mark Lampley.
Survivors include her sons; Jason Jones (Magan) of Bon Aqua, TN, Casey Jones (Johanna) of Lyles, TN, Gabriel Jones of Bon Aqua, TN, her brother; Ernie Papp of Ohio, sisters; Dawn Ring and Alyce Ring, both of Ohio, grandchildren; Jordan McBride, Caden Jones, Cash Jones, Kinsley Teet, Charlie Jones, Kelton Jones, Jentry Jones, nieces and nephews; Brandy, Keith, Jessie, Justin, and Heather.
