A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 2:00PM at the Tennessee Ridge Baptist Church with Pastor Dennis Kirk officiating. Interment will be in the Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Donna Bell-Dodson, age 73, of Erin, TN, passed away at home on April 12, 2023.
She was born in Cheatham County on October 20, 1949 to the late Buford Monroe Dorton and Lorene Elizabeth Hutcheson Dorton.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers; Thomas Dorton, Buford Douglas Dorton, Jesse Bill Dorton and her sister; Mary O. Dorton.
She is survived by her daughter; Terri Swaw (Mark) of Erin, TN, her sons; Jerrell Bell (Teresa) of Burns, TN, Bradley Bell (Kristy) of McEwen, TN, brothers; Mike Dorton of San Antonio, TX, Jerrell Dorton of Kingston Springs, TN, Donald Ray Dorton of Kingston Springs, TN, Darrell Dorton (Connie) of White Bluff, TN, Fred Dorton of Kingston Springs, TN, sisters; Patricia Talent (Pete) of Spring Hill, FL, Regina Dorton of Pegram, TN, grandchildren; Samuel Swaw (Julia), Joshua Swaw (Chloe), Sarah Swaw, Caleb Swaw, Megan Harris (J.C.), Carlee Lane (Brandon), Haley Bell, Hannah Bush (Jed), Macy Bell, Andrew Bell, great-grandchildren; Jackson Bush, Jacob Swaw, Raidyn Nail and numerous nieces and nephews.
