Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday, July 30, 2023, at 2:00 PM from the chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Dwight Haynes giving the eulogy. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 12:00 PM until the time of service. Burial will follow in the East Dickson Cemetery.
Lorenzo was born November 20, 1985, age 37, entered into rest on July 20, 2023. He was the son of the late Dianna Pollard. He graduated from Dickson County High School. He was an awesome musician. He accepted Christ at a young age and was a part of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church and Compassion Church.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his brother; Blake Pollard, his uncles; Anthony Bibby Pollard, Jesse Smith, his aunt; Uylanda Corlew, grandparents; Nilda Faye Fossie, L.B. Pollard, and Shirley Sanders.
He is survived by three sons; Gabriel Caleb Pollard of Dickson, TN, Lorenzo Pollard of Columbia, TN, brother; Blair E. Pollard of Dickson, TN, aunts; Carolyn Pollard of Nashville, TN, Nilda Spicer of Dickson, TN, Bonita (Nick) Watson of Murfreesboro, TN, Donna Pollard of Dickson, TN, Gracie (Michael) Newman of Dickson, TN, uncles; Finley (Cynthia) Pollard of Spartanburg, S.C., Ken (Mary) Sanders of Denver, CO, great uncle; Frank L. Sanders Sr. of Dickson, TN and a host of cousins and friends, special friends; Nicole, Ashley and Patty.
