Bonnie Elaine Smith Hayes, age 65, of Fairview, TN passed away at home on August 7, 2023. Bonnie’s wishes were to be cremated and no services are planned.
Bonnie was born September 12, 1957, in Nashville, TN to the late Bonnie Eugene Smith and Elsie Mai Sullivan Smith. Bonnie had worked for the TN Department of Revenue as a Department Manager. She was a caregiver at heart. She always said that she felt like God had put her on the earth to help others and take care of those in need.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Hayes and her brother, Chuck Smith.
Survivors include her brothers; Jeff Smith (Debra) of Burns, TN, Greg Smith (Amanda) of Bon Aqua, TN, Kevin Smith of Fairview, TN, her sister-in-law; Jenny Smith of Bon Aqua, TN, several nieces and nephews and her special four-legged friend; Pip.
