A celebration of life for Gordon Lynn Fisk, age 60 of Dickson, will begin at 5 p.m. Saturday, August 12, 2023 from the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Jacob Winters and Brian Zimmerman officiating. Mr. Fisk died unexpectedly on August 8, 2023 at Horizon Medical Center. For those desiring, memorials may be made to the Kidney Foundation.
Born in Glendale, Arizona, Gordon was the son of the late Newton F. and Margaret Pearl Sweeney Fisk. He worked proudly for the road crew of the Dickson County Highway Department. He was married to Patricia Dawn Rogers Fisk, who survives. He is best remembered by his family as a loving husband, father, grandfather, son-in-law, brother and friend.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Dawn Fisk of Dickson; two daughters, Whittney Zimmerman (Brian) of Dickson, and Jordan Parker (Devon) of Moss Point, MS; three grandchildren, Jacob Zimmerman, Koda Zimmerman, and Batson Parker; a sister, Melody Walker (Rodney) of Waverly, TN; and by his mother-in-law, Faye Rogers of Dickson; and a son-at-heart,Jeffery Harris. He was preceded by his brothers, Franklin Edward Fisk and John Ethon Fisk.
