A memorial of Ty’s life will be held at 11 am on Friday, August 18, 2023 at Christ the King Anglican Church, 4440 SE 3rd Avenue, Ocala, Florida 34480. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Ty’s name to Ambleside Ocala, 507 SE Broadway, Ocala, Florida 34471, where his sisters attend school and are deeply loved.
Ty Christopher Head, age 22, went to be with his Lord and Savior Thursday, August 10, 2023. Ty was born October 14, 2000 in Naples, Florida, but raised in Ocala, Florida since the age of 2.
Ty attended 8th Street Elementary, Osceola Middle and Forest High School. He was active in sports on both Marion County Youth Football League, Shooters Lacrosse and Outlaws Lacrosse Clubs. He was a member of FHS Wildcats varsity lacrosse team for his junior and senior years, #12. He was a great friend, classmate and teammate to all. His helping hand always extended to anyone in need. He brought laughter to everyone he knew and his smile would light up a room.
Ty was a great brother to Brett and adored being a big brother to his sisters, Elle and Mia. He loved the water whether it be the lake or the beach and the many sports it offered, fishing, surfing and wakeboarding. His happiest times were always at home with family.
Ty was a special gift to those who knew him. He will forever be missed by his family and friends. It is an honor to call you our son, brother and friend.
Ty is survived by his parents Jeffrey Allen Head and Vanessa (Woelfel) and Jason Andrew Thomas, brother Brett and sisters Elle and Mia grandparents Elaine and Kurt Woelfel, Kay Dees and Bonnie Thomas uncles and aunts Steven Head, Kurt Woelfel II (Kelly) and Alexandra Thomas cousins Brooks and Brady Woelfel, Kelsey Holder and Savanna Haney preceded in death by his grandfathers Densel “Dink” Dees and Mark Chappell Thomas.
