Funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon, August 18, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home. Bro. Bill Shouse officiating, with his daughter Audrey and his son Nolan giving person remarks and Bro. Wayne Pruett having the closing prayer.  Place of rest will be in the Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday August 16th from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday August 17th from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday August 18th beginning at 12 Noon until time of service.

Randall’s Rebellion has been such a blessing to Timmy, Debra and their family during this time. It was a moment in time that they were able to free their minds of everyday obligations and to focus on Timmy and his family.  Those desiring, they would prefer that in lieu of flowers, remembrances of Timmy be made to Randall’s Rebellion. Timothy Edward “Timmy” Sensing, Age 58, of Charlotte, Tennessee passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family on August 14, 2023, after a battle with cancer.

Timmy was born on June 3, 1965, to Myra Murphy Sensing and the late Hugh Edward “Eddie” Sensing. In 1983 he married the love of his life, Debbie Story Sensing, and together they shared three beautiful children, Nolan (Shanna) and Audrey (Emilio) and his late daughter Darla. Timmy was a wonderful and devoted father, husband and coach, and son. Timmy loved his family most of all.  Also surviving is his loving mother, Myra Murphy Sensing.  He was extremely close to his three grandchildren, Kylah, Cruz and Delilah. His brothers Jerry (Mona), Michael (Linda) and Daniel (Mandy) along with their children, meant the world to him. He was the epitome of a good man who was well loved and respected by many in our community. He will be so greatly missed.

Timmy spent his free time coaching many softball and baseball teams throughout the years. “Coach Tic” as he was lovingly known, coached Creek Wood softball with his beloved friend Nancy Jackson from 2009 until his recent passing in which he impacted the lives of many and built an abundance of meaningful relationships and memories.

Active casket bearers will be family and friends, honorary will be Dennis Geisler, Nancy Jackson and Ray Petty.
