Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 7, 2023, at 3:00 PM from the chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home. Bro. Tommy Webb will officiate. Visitation will be on Saturday beginning at 12PM until the time of service. Entombment will follow in the Chapel of Prayer Mausoleum at Dickson County Memorial Gardens.
Robert Lee Deason, age 73, of Dickson, TN, passed away on October 3, 2023.
Bob was born in Vanleer, TN on June 9, 1950, to the late Leroy Deason and Robie Cunningham Deason. He received his bachelor’s degree from Austin Peay and worked for many years at Tennsco as a shift manager. Bob loved everyone and was the type of person that never said no to any favor needed. He was “Papa” to all who knew him and deeply loved Kay and all his family. He will be missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Leroy & Robie Cunningham Deason, John Baker “Bo”, who was like a father to him, and his sister Jane Robinson.
He is survived by his wife; Sandra Kay Deason of Dickson, TN, his daughters; Tammy Kornberg (Mitch) of Nashville, TN, Donna Russell (Mike) of Nashville, TN, grandchildren; Jon, Kristyn, Chelsea, Walker, Molly, Stephanie, Olivia, great-grandchildren; Demi, Sophia, Anthony, uncles; D.L. "Roy" Cunningham, Billy Cunningham, aunt; Sue Quirion, several nieces, nephews, numerous cousins, and friends; his two dear friends, Hensley and Mark, along with his fur baby; Charli.
