A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Jon Southerland officiating. Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday at 12 noon until the time of service. A private burial will take place in the Plumlee Family Cemetery.
Penny Renee Tinnin Plumlee, age 58 years old of Cumberland Furnace, passed from this life on November 10, 2023, at St. Thomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville. She was born on January 23, 1965, in Nashville, TN, to the late Wilburn Bass Tinnin and Wilma Jane Butler.
In addition to her parents, Penny was preceded in death by her stepfather: Harold Pritchett; and her brother: Wayne Pritchett.
Survivors include her husband: Tim Plumlee of Cumberland Furnace; her daughters: Teah Plumlee and Carolina Plumlee, both of Cumberland Furnace; her brothers: Butch Tinnin (Sandy) of Gallatin, Jay Pritchett (Carolyn) and Terry Pritchett (Josey), both of Pleasant View; her sisters: Sherry Johnson (Pat) of Ashland City and Rose Perry of Pleasant View; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Native American Educational Resources.
