 Funeral services will be conducted Saturday afternoon, December 30, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home. The visitation will be on Saturday beginning at 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Pearl Butterworth Lampley, age 94, of Burns, TN died peacefully December 27, 2023, at NHC in Dickson, TN.

Pearl Butterworth Lampley was born in Cheatham County.  She was the daughter of the late Draper and Lola Bell Hedgepath Butterworth. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Zack McCay, her daughter, Betty Peters, her son-in-law, Bobby Peters, son-in-law, Larry Patton and daughter-in-law, Carol Sullivan. Pearl was of the Baptist faith.

Work was not a stranger to her, she worked virtually her whole life.  First and foremost, she was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a great- great grandmother. In the 1960’s she worked as a waitress in several food service restaurants including Krystals.  Later she worked for 18 years at D.A.B. an engine bearing plant.

Her heart led her to be the perfect caregiver for her late parents, aunts, and uncles.  She cared for all of them with love and compassion.

Survivors include her five children: Carolyn Warren of Dickson, TN, Wanda Patton of Burns, TN, Novella Long and her husband Steve of Bon Aqua, TN, Nathan Sullivan of Burns, TN and Joey Sullivan of Charlotte, TN. Her sister; Sally Ruth Tibbs of Alabama, 22 grandchildren, Several great-grandchildren, several great- great grandchildren, several nieces, and nephews.
