Mr. Benny Joe Blair, age 77 of Burns, TN died on December 22, 2023 at the NHC of Dickson, TN. A memorial service will be held later. For those desiring, memorials may be made to the Humane Society, Shriners Hospital for Children, or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
Mr. Blair was born August 7, 1946 in Senath, Missouri. He was a son of the late Hershel Wayne Blair and Alyne Jones Blair. He was a Veteran having served his country in the U.S. Navy. He was stationed on the USS Saratoga. He was a truck driver for nearly 20 years. In his retirement, he enjoyed fishing, watching tv, attending flea markets, and seeing collections of pocketknives and guns.
Mr. Blair is survived by his son, Benny Joe Blair and his wife, Sharon; his daughter, Kristina Lynn Blair; his brother, Hershel Wayne Clark; his sisters, Harriett Garrett and Donna Lyon; 4 grandchildren, Johnathan Blair (Melissa), Luke Blair, Kayleigh Blair, Brayden Wardon; great grandchildren, Brody Blair, Cason Blair and Matthew Dean Blair.
