Jason Wayne Sanker, age 43 of Dickson, TN died on Wednesday, January 10, 2024.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 14, 2024 at the Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Carl Hooper speaking. The visitation will be held on Sunday from 11:30 AM until the time of service. Jason will be buried in the Adcock Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to help with final expenses.
Jason was born on April 3, 1980 in Dickson, TN. He was a man of many interests and talents. He loved football and anything outdoors such as hunting, fishing, and riding 4-wheelers. When younger, he braved the sport of bull riding. Jason had a strong personality, a sense of humor, and a kind heart. He was good at cooking on a grill and enjoyed grilling for the family. Jason was a great carpenter by trade, he could build anything that was requested. Jason was a big supporter of Donald Trump; he had even dedicated a table to his presidential memorabilia. Nicknamed “Chucky” by his nieces, Jason was close to his family. He loved being a father, spending time with his family, and he loved his late dog, “Bo”, who he had taken care of for 16 years.
Jason is survived by his son, Jase Lane Sanker; his parents, Gary and Debbie Sanker; his sisters, Holly Stockman, Heather Foriest (Steven Ross), Miranda Brumley (Cheyhalis); nephews, Paxton Sanker (Lindsey), Cayden Sanker, Lathen Foriest, Grayson Foriest; great nieces, Everly Sanker, Adelai Sanker, and Olive Sanker. Also surviving are many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
