Beverly Sue Heath, age 80 of Charlotte, TN died on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at her home.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, January 22, 2024 at the Taylor Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Liberty Cemetery. The visitation will be held on Sunday, January 21, 2024 from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM. For those desiring, memorials may be made to help with final expenses.
Sue was born November 21, 1943 in Dickson, TN. She was a daughter of the late James and Panthy Shelton Bush. She was a fun loving, quick witted, “hot mess”. In her younger years she drove a car in the powder puff demolition derby at the county fair. She worked for Developmental Services of Dickson County for 13 years. She helped manage a group home and enjoyed the opportunity to plan and participate in events for their clients. Sue was a talented cook. She had worked at restaurants in Charlotte and retired from the restaurant at Montgomery Bell State Park. She enjoyed road trips, afternoon drives, gardening flowers, feeding her hummingbirds, and peacocks.
Mrs. Heath was preceded in death by her husband Herman Earl “Benny” Heath; her son, Jeff Heath; and siblings, Lois Smithson, Thelma Burrow, Jerold Bush, and JD Bush.
Sue is survived by her daughter, Ronda Heath; her son, William “Billy” Heath; sisters, Glenda Winstead, and Nancy Larkins; three grandchildren, Crystal Klein, Jonathan Heath, and Beverly Heath; three great grandchildren, Jarrett, Kristian, and Kamari; several nieces and nephews.
