Mr. Samuel Dean “Sammy” Haley, age 79 of Bon Aqua, TN died on January 28, 2024. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at the Taylor Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow in the Jenkins Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Thursday from 11:00 Am until the time of service.
Sammy was born in Hickman County on March 11, 1944. He was a son of Delbert and Mildred Mayberry Haley. He served in the National Guard for six years. Sammy was a skilled carpenter, a builder. He was a very hard worker and a man of his word. His work and his family were the two most important parts of his life.
Mr. Haley is survived by his wife, Teena Moss Haley; his children, Tammy Slocum, Penny Frost, Brent Moss, Dustin Haley, and Jason Haley; his siblings, Roy Haley, Terry Haley, Mary Dell Oakley, Carol Taylor, and Elaine Davidson. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
