Mr. Anatoly Ivanovich Zavozin, age 69 of Brentwood, TN died on February 22, 2024 at the Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN
A graveside service will be held at 11:30 AM on Monday, February 26, 2024 at the Pinkerton Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:30 AM until the time of service.
Mr. Zavozin was born August 28, 1954 in Aksarka, Russia. He served 2 years in the Russian Army before entering service as a police officer. He retired as a detective with over 30 years of service, only days before a scheduled promotion to the rank of General. His most recent endeavor was serving as a courier for his daughter’s company.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ivan Spiridonovich Zavozin and Augusta Yakovlevna Samorokova; and his brother, Yuri Zavozin
He is survived by his wife, Elena Vasilyevna Barsyk Zavozina; his daughters, Elena Zavozina (Igor Efanov) and Olia Zavozina (Derek Allen McFarlin); his siblings, Galina Zavozina and Boris Zavozin; his grandchildren, Timothy Fomichev, Ivan Zavozin, Michael Zavozin, and Braylee McFarlin.
