A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 5, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Kenny Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the Dickson Union Cemetery. Visitation with the family will take place on Friday from 12 noon until the time of service.
Mr. Dillon Eugene Hafner, age 95 years old, of Dickson, passed from this life on April 3, 2024, at Horizon Medical Center of Dickson. He was born on August 8, 1928, to the late Joseph Daniel and Minnie Luke Hafner. He worked at Schrader’s Automotive, Lex-A-Lite, and for Dickson County as a bus driver. He was also a farmer and of the Church of Christ faith.
In addition to his parents: he was preceded in death by his son: Dale Hafner; and his siblings: Clarence Hafner, Richard Hafner, Joe B. Hafner, and Edna Raymond.
Survivors include his daughter: Kaye Flowers (Danny) of Dickson; his daughter-in-law: JoAnne Hafner; his grandchildren: Jeana Dillard (Dwayne), Danielle Hardison (Michael), JoDale Hafner (Andrea), Justan Hafner (Krystal), James Lampley (Melissa), and Michelle Shadowens (Jack); daughter-in-law: Joann Hafner; as well as several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
