Billy Joe “Bill” Tomlinson, age 66 of Bon Aqua, TN died on April 19, 2024. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, April 22, 2024 at the Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Tarkington officiating. The burial will follow in the Tomlinson Cemetery on Dug Hill Road. The visitation will be held on Sunday evening from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Monday from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
Billy was born on February 7, 1958 in Dickson, TN. He was one of eleven children of William Eual and Doye Bowman Tomlinson. Billy was a construction worker and spent many years with a career in underground utilities for the Water Department for the city of Fairview. Billy enjoyed being outdoors and he loved his family and his animals.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Tomlinson was preceded in death by his sister, Lisa Leaniez; and a grandson, Kyle Tomlinson.
Billy is survived by his children, Chris Tomlinson (Christy), and Beth Pack (Jeff); his siblings, Grady Tomlinson (Pam), Jimmy Tomlinson (Susan), Betty Williams (Glen), Evelyn Butcher (Scotty), Charles “Sweet Pea” Tomlinson (Debbie), Jack Tomlinson, Rita Wicks (Russell), Cathey Mace, and Leta Greer (Scott); his grandchildren, Candace Harper, Johnathan Pack, Madison Zivkov, Blain Zivkov, Gracie Pack, Leigha Tomlinson, Kendel Tomlinson, and Payton Tomlinson. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews and his loving pets, James, Bently, and Old Man.
