A graveside service with Military Honors will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, July 31, 2025 at the Cooksey Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Taylor Funeral Home on Thursday from 10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon.
Mr. Scott was born on April 25, 1938 in Dickson, TN. He was a son of the late Carlton Hubert Scott and the late Etta Kate Wolfe Scott. He was a Veteran, having served in the United States Navy. He was a retired engineer at the Gwinnett Water Department.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Martha Brown; 2 brothers, George William “Bill” Scott and Harry Carlton Scott.
Jimmy is survived by nieces and nephews, Robert Scott, Jack Brown, Valerie Sawyer, Tina Malugin, Karen Saunders, Debbie Harris, Mary Natour, and Matt Brown. Also surviving are numerous great nieces and nephews and extended family members.
