A Celebration of Life will be held at the Cumberland Presbyterian Church, in Dickson, on September 20, 2025, at 2PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Dickson.
Louise Hooper Shankle, age 71, of Dickson, TN, passed away on July 3, 2025.
Louise was born on September 17, 1953, to the late Air Force MSGT (Ret.) Albert Woodrow Hooper (Woody) and Alene Ramey Hooper. Although she moved a lot as the daughter of an Army Air Corps and Air Force Serviceman, she was raised in Dickson, TN. After high school, she attended Lipscomb University, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
Louise was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed bible study, having lunch with friends and reading.
Louise is preceded in death by her parents, her sisters, Sherrill Hooper, Denise Elliott, her faithful companion, Lancelot.
She is survived by her son Daniel (Gwen) Bates, daughter, Cynthia (Bobby) Conner, grandsons, Timothy (TJ) Patterson, Trevor Salmeron, granddaughter, Alene (Ally) Patterson, great-granddaughter, Delilah Salmeron, nephew, Steven Elliott, and so many other beloved family and friends.
