Funeral services will be Saturday September 20, 2025 at 12 PM at New Hope Baptist Church in Bon Aqua, TN with Bro Nathan Wilkerson and Bro. James Parham officiating. Place of rest will be in the New Hope Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Friday September 19th from 4 to 8 PM at Taylor Funeral Home and on Saturday from 10 AM until time of service at the church.
Cletus E. Tidwell, age 90 of Bon Aqua, TN passed away Wednesday September 17, 2025. Born in Bon Aqua, TN he was the son of the late Hugh Montgomery and Mary Beard Tidwell and was preceded in death by his siblings, Delmar, and Hoyett Tidwell, Freida Wright and Marjorie Tidwell. Cletus worked in Tech Support at Hospitals and was a farmer. He was an U.S. Air Force veteran and a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Bon Aqua, TN.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Antoinette “Toni” Tidwell of Bon Aqua, TN; children, Phillip Tidwell (Iona) of Bon Aqua, TN, Jennifer Embry (Bryce) of Hendersonville, TN; 6 grandchildren, Alec Tidwell, Eric Tidwell, Calvin Tidwell, Brandon Puckett, Stephen Puckett, Ryan Puckett; 7 great grandchildren, Zack Tidwell, Braiden Puckett, Ryder Puckett, Lorelai Puckett, Eli Puckett, Luke Puckett, Ava Tidwell.
