   Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, May 23, 2015 at 2 pm from the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with the Rev. Ernie Arnold officiating. Place of rest will be in the Waynick Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Friday, May 22nd from 4 pm until 8 pm and on Saturday beginning at 10 am until time of service.  Terry, Darryl, Johnnie, Jeff, Jackie, and Jesse Morris and Alex and Timothy Curtis will serve as pallbearers.
   Mrs. Morris, age 101, died May 19, 2015 at Signature Health Care in Erin, TN where she had resided for quite some time.
   Mrs. Morris was born in Humphreys County, and was the daughter of the late William Walter and Annie Ollie Runion Guthrie. She was the widow of the late Horace Morris.  A homemaker and a farmer's wife, she was lifelong member of the former Wesley's Chapel United Methodist Church on Cedar Creek in Dickson County.  A loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, she was revered and respected as a lady.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her son and daughter-in-law, Jimmie and Jeleada Morris; sisters, Dorothy Russell, Irene Jackson, and Mattie Guthrie; brothers, Leonard, Hermon, and Bryant Guthrie; and by her grandson, Larry Morris.
  Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Clyde N. and Loretta Morris, Slayden, TN; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
