Mayson is the son of Carl Garton and Lonae Vaughter Garton. He was a junior at Creek Wood High School where he enjoyed the company of his classmates and the other kids at school. Music thrilled Mayson and his keyboards and other musical toys entertained him for many an hour. The sound of an echo was amazing to him, and when he was in a room or place that “echoed,” he could not be quiet: the louder sound he could make, the better!
A special treat for Mayson was a Chocolate Crème-Pie Shake from SONIC! He enjoyed the beach and all that went with it – waves, sand, the breeze, the sun and the thrill it brought to him and the people around him. He loved his “shows” on television: “Blues Clues,” “Sponge Bob,” and “Mickey Mouse.”
Although small in stature, Mayson was a “giant” when it came to his capacity for love of family and friends and the joy he gave to all those around him. He will be greatly missed.
