Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday morning, February 17, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home. Julie Combs, Andrea Albright, and Tommy Marvin will speak. A private burial at Dickson County Memorial Gardens will follow the service. Visitation will be on Friday, February 16, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday beginning at 10:00 a.m. until time of service.

Mr. Fowlkes, age 94, of Dickson, TN died peacefully on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at his home with his family by his side.
Mr. Fowlkes was born in Dickson County and was the son of the late W. B. Sr. and Clara Lankford Fowlkes. He was a graduate of Dickson High School, Class of 1941. He proudly served his country in the U. S. Army during World War ll. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce, in 2015. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
He was a farmer and retired carpenter in construction work. He loved to fish, loved driving his four wheeler, and loved his land, but fishing came before anything else. Stanley loved having family and friends around him and hosting a daily tea time in the late afternoons. He loved telling stories of the past and was always willing to keep up with today's current events.
Survivors include his daughter Angela Fowlkes Hughes of Dickson,TN, his two grandsons Luke Hughes and Gunner Hughes both of Dicksons,TN, his sister Ona Mai Norman of Dickson,TN, and several nieces and nephews.
