A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 16, 2020 at 12:00 Noon at the Taylor Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
Clarence Bell Owens passed away on March 8, 2020 at his home.
He was born on April 25, 1958. He was educated in Cheatham County Schools. He attended Motlow State Community College and became a Certified Welder.
Clarence worked at Butler’s as a welder for several years and most recently he was working as a contractor in Cheatham County. He was always willing to help anyone who needed it, and he was well known in the community. He loved to talk on the phone and always ended the conversation with “I love you”.
Mr. Owens was preceded in death by a son, Quincy James, a sister and two brothers.
He is survived by son, Clarence Bell Jr.; three grandchildren; his father and mother, Eldridge and Katherine Bell; his siblings, Sylvan (George) Thomas, Darryl Bell, Tonya Owens, Cheryl Davis, Keryl (Eugene) Rankins, Terrance Bell, Tabitha Bell, Natasha (Lee) Taylor, Monty (Robert) Williams, Eldridge Bell Jr.; devoted friend Louise Gordon and Wesley David Haines; a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
