Born in Burns, Lorene was the daughter of the late Ernest L., Sr. and Julia Welch Estes. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Ernest Estes, Jr. and Eugene Estes and by two sisters, Maude Marlin and Rosa Mai Mitchell.
A homemaker, she was a member of the former West Nashville Heights Church of Christ where she served as a Sunday School teacher and a Wednesday night Bible Class teacher. She was a strong believer in God and in His promises and looked forward to seeing her Lord and Savior face to face. She loved her family very much.
Survivors include her four sons, Philip Michael McAlister (Ann), James Lynnard McAlister (Kay), Horace Bradley McAlister, all of Nolensville, TN, and Patrick Estes McAlister (Niki) of Nashville; her two daughters, Julia Anne Webb (Chuck) and Teresa Jean Suedekum (Ron), all of Brentwood, TN; her sister, Aline Estes, of Burns, TN; her 19 grandchildren, Jesse McAlister (Rachael), Miriam Seidl (Jonny), Leah Weatherly (Trey), Chase Webb, Matthew Webb (Morgan), Evan Webb, Jamey Webb, Ryan Smith (Hayden), Leighton McAlister (Elizabeth), Keaton McAlister, Chris Suedekum, Maggie Lee (Troy), Parker Suedekum, Garrett Suedekum, Zachary McAlister, Joshua McAlister, Jacob McAlister, Colleen McAlister, and Thomas McAlister; and her 8 great grandchildren, Amiya, Kaliya, May Pearl, Ava James, Zelda, Ivy, Sunny, and Ellie Kate.
