Visitation only will be held on Monday, August 19, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Taylor Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Taylor Funeral Home for Marty’s Funeral Expenses.
Martin Dennis Collier, better known as “Marty” or “Gold Mine”, age 64 of Charlotte, TN, passed from this life on August 15, 2024, at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson. He was born on March 18, 1960, in Dickson to the late Wilford and Emma N. Majors Collier.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-son: Jason Ward.
Survivors include his wife: Kim Ward of Charlotte; his step-son: Deandre Carter of Columbia; his siblings: Brenda Harper (Lawrence) of Charlotte, Caroline Collier of Dickson, Lamont Collier (Sarah) of Charlotte and Timothy Collier (Judy) also of Charlotte; and two aunts: Willie Mae Vaughn and Mary Jane Vaughn. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
