   Donald Ray Reeves, age 77 of Bon Aqua, TN died on February 15, 2025.  A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at the Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Dennie Boren officiating.  Place of rest will be in the Middle TN Veterans Cemetery.  The visitation will be held on Monday, February 24, 2025 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and on Tuesday from 9:00 AM until the time of service. 


   Mr. Reeves was born on July 19, 1947 in Hickman, TN.  He was a Veteran, having served his Country in the U.S. Marine Corps.  He was a supporter of his local VFW, where for many years he played the role of Santa and participated in Bingo games.  He retired from State Stove where he was a lead man on the line.  Afterwards, he assisted with lawn care for Ron Parker.  He loved fishing especially with Lynn Bryant, Jarred, and his grandchildren. He was a beloved PawPaw to his grandkids whom he shared many happy memories and life lessons with. 

   Mr. Reeves was preceded in death by his father, Herbert Jack Reeves; his wife, Robbie Reeves, and his wife, Henryetta Owens; a brother, Gary Reeves; a daughter-in-law, Amy Reeves; and a great granddaughter, Kandace Beverly.  

   Mr. Reeves is survived by his daughters, Lisa Graybill (Jerry) of Burns, TN, and Crystal Reeves of Dickson, TN; his son, Jarred Reeves of Waverly, TN; his sisters, Sandra Vineyard of Dickson, TN, Dottie Aeberle (Rob) of Dickson, TN, Retha Stinson of Bon Aqua, TN; his brother, Lelon Reeves of Murfreesboro, TN; grandchildren, Samantha York (Matthew) of Charlotte, TN, Kristin Beverly (Kenneth) of Burns, TN, McKenzie Gothard (Wesley) of Manchester, TN, Brianna Reeves (John) of Dickson, TN, JJ O’Neill (Lexus) of Dickson, TN; great grandchildren, Madison Beverly, Chloe Beverly, and Rosalie O’Neill; 2 step-sons; several step grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

   In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dickson County Humane Society or Mallory’s Miracle Children’s Charity.
