John Edwin Connally of White Bluff, TN passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2025. His wishes were to be cremated and no services are planned.
John was 77 years old. Born in Milan, TN, he was the second of three children born to Johnston “Peg” and Bobbie Sue Connally.
After graduating from Milan High School, John moved to Nashville to attend John Gupton College where he obtained his degree in Mortuary Science. He worked in occupations as varied as art restoration and antiques to real estate and sales. An avid reader, gardener, and cook, John loved hosting seasonal chili dinners.
He is survived by his children, Joseph Warren Connally and Elizabeth “Bess” Fields Connally, his sister, Sherry Murray, his brother James Hubert Connally, his half-brother, Billy Connally, and his grandson, Bobby Connally. He is preceded in death by his wife and partner, Sherri Lynn Jacobs. Plans for a celebration of life are to be determined.
