Funeral services will be Sunday March 9, 2025 at 2 PM from the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Baggett officiating. Place of rest will be in the Dickson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be Saturday March 8th from 4 to 8 PM and on Sunday from 12 PM until time of service.
Zachary Hinson “Zach” Scruggs, age 23 of Dickson, TN passed away Wednesday March 5, 2025. Born in Columbia, TN he was the son of James Leon “Lee” and Brandon Tennille “Brandy” Hinson Scruggs of Dickson, TN. Zach had a smile that lit up the room and the most beautiful perfect soul on earth. He is the strongest person I know. He went through so many things but never cried about his pain or his situation. He made everyone around him feel better, even if he wasn't. Zach was a member of Walnut St. Church of Christ.

Along with his parents he is survived by his sisters, Jailin Scruggs of Murfreesboro, TN, Kerry Scruggs of Dickson, TN, Haydyn Bales; grandparents, Judy and Kerry Hinson of Dickson, TN, Ella Mayberry of Centerville, TN; aunts and uncles, Brad Hinson, Sonya Peebles, Perry Dansby, Maria Russell, Tony Scruggs, Barbara Lynn Johnson, Terry Johnson; special cousins, Cheyenne Hinson and Elijah Knab along with several other cousins.
