 Funeral services will be conducted Sunday afternoon, June 4, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home. Rev. Ed White and Tommy Marvin will officiate. Place of rest will be in the Williams Addition of the Dickson Union Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday evening, June 3rd from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and on Sunday beginning at 12 Noon until time of service.  To view a livestream of the service on Sunday at 1:00 PM, please click HERE.

Ann B. McClellan, age 90, of Bradenton FL formerly of Dickson, TN died peacefully May 27, 2023 in Harborchase of Sarasota, FL.

She was born in Dickson County and was the daughter of the late Elery and Mattie Bowen Betty. She was preceded in death by all of her siblings; Betty Elchert, Ruby Riesland, Walker Betty and L. D. Betty. Also preceded in death was the love of her life Leo McClellan who died in 2005.

Ann was a licensed practical nurse who served Dickson County well.  She was a longtime member of the Dickson First United Methodist Church and a 50+year member of Dickson Chapeter #291, Order of Eastern Star.  She truly had a servant’s heart who loved serving others and she did it very well.  Ann was always in for a good round of golf with family and friends. She really loved Florida during the winter months allowing her to do all of her out of door activities.

Ann is survived by her two sons; Michael McClellan (Dawn Ward) and Richard McClellan (Lisa), her granddaughter Meghan Garrett (Brandon) Several nieces and nephews.
