Boyd W. Parker, age 58, of Dickson, TN died Monday, June 26, 2023, at his home, surrounded by his family.

He was born in Charlotte, TN on January 18, 1965, to the late James Parker and Mary Clark Parker. After his parents died at an early age, his brother Wayne and Debbie help to raise him. Debbie became the glue that held the family together and remains to be that today. Boyd had served in the United States Army and was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Tennessee Vols fan. He was a simple man, known to be quite stubborn, but a child at heart. Family was the most important thing to him; especially the love and bond he had with his grandchildren. He was known for having a heart of gold, being the best friend that everyone went to and the greatest “bruncle” around.

Boyd always had the TV and surround sound blaring and you would have to speak to his “good ear”, it was his way or no way, he could tell a good joke, but no matter what he would always be there for you.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Wayne Parker and sisters; Diane Hayes and Pam Parker.

Survivors include his wife; Marion Durkee Parker of Dickson, TN, his sons; Randall Parker (Amanda) of Murfreesboro, TN, Jesse Wayne Parker (Megan) of Murfreesboro, TN, Aaron David Moore (Lauren) of Dickson, TN, Alex Moore of Goodlettsville, TN, Allison Ramirez (Ciro) of Dickson, TN, grandchildren; Kylie Parker, Riley Parker, Payzley Parker, Tinley Parker, Addison Parker, Ryln Parker, Ella Parker, Tanner Parker, Kylan Moore, Emma Moore, Tristan Moore, Canyon Moore, Abel Moore, Zariah Moore, Lucia Ramirez, Briella Ramirez, his beloved 4-legged companion, “Coco”, nieces; Missy, Yolanda, Crystal, great-niece; Brittany, great-nephews; Steven, Harley, and sister-n-law; Debbie North.
