Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, June 29, 2023, at 12:00 PM from the chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home. Chaplain Terry Bright will officiate. Visitation will be on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Burial will follow in the Gillin Cemetery in White Bluff.
Forrest Robert Hickerson, Jr, age 61, of Dickson, TN, passed away at Gallatin Healthcare and Rehab on Tuesday, June 27, 2023.
He was born in Dickson County, TN on March 4, 1962 to the late Forrest Robert Hickerson Sr. and Ida Maybelle Donegan Hickerson. He had worked as a general handyman through the years. He was known for his love of people and animals. He and his mother would often sit and feed the wild animals around their home. He was the type that would do anything for anybody, a giver, and someone with a good heart.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Kathy Hickerson.
Survivors include: his daughter; Dana Hanson, brothers; Thomas (Glenda) Hickerson of Dickson, TN, William Burgess of Hickman County, Jimmy (Ashley) Burgess of Hickman County, his sisters; Teresa (Carl) Claybrooks of Nashville, TN, Regina Netherton of Fairview, TN, Cindy Walker of Bowling Green, KY, Wendy Defries of Arkansas, Penelope Dearin of Arkansas, 1 grandson, and several nieces and nephews.
