Funeral services will be held Monday, September 11, 2023, at 2PM at Bethel Baptist Church with Pastor Randy Franklin officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2023, at the Taylor Funeral Home from 12PM until 8PM and again on Monday at the church, beginning at 12PM until the time of service. Burial will follow in the Dickson County Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Brady M.O. Mann, Sr., age 85, of Dickson, TN, passed away on Friday, September 8, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family.
Brady was born on March 15, 1938, in Hollow Rock, TN (Carroll County), to the late Floyd F. Mann and Flossie Smith Mann. Brady retired from the United States Air Force with 25 years of service. He was a Vietnam Veteran and served as a flight engineer at that time, among other things. He was a community man and served Dickson County in so many ways. He has owned and operated Brady Mann Produce in White Bluff for nearly thirty years. He also sold real estate for Claude Martin Realty when he got out of the military. He was a recruiter for 9 years and trained other recruiters before his retirement. He and Caron celebrated their 66th anniversary in August. He enjoyed watching Gaither Homecomings, Wheel of Fortune, Bonanza, Gunsmoke, and the news. He loved listening to old country music as well. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 4 brothers, 2 sisters, 2 children, and 1 grandson.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Caron Bryant Mann, his sons; Brady Mann, Jr., Jimmy Mann, Larry Mann, his daughters Lynn Mann Mayberry, Anita Proctor, Abby Mann, 14 grandchildren, and 21 great- grandchildren.
