Judy Haskins, age 79 of Dickson, TN died on September 7, 2023 at the St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN.
A funeral service will be held at 3:30 PM on Monday, September 11, 2023 at the Taylor Funeral Home. Her place of rest will be in the Dickson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2023 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
Judy was born December 5, 1943 in Hickman County, Tennessee. She was a daughter of Melvin Edwards and Rebecca Black Edwards. She had worked for the Red Kap Manufacturing Company and Devandry’s. Judy was a very strong and enduring woman. She loved flower gardening and maintaining her koi fishpond.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two sons, Brian Keith Haskins, and David Wayne Haskins; and a daughter, Tina Kay Haskins.
Mrs. Haskins is survived by her husband, Sam E. Haskins; her daughter, Joyce Marie Orange; her sisters, Wilma Chandler (James), and Joyce McGuigan; her grandchildren, Terry, Crystal, Cody, Angela, and Katie; her great grandchildren, Dylan, Rebecca, Logan, Jack, Brilee, Landon, Leighton, Everleigh, and Hadleigh. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
