Ms. Eva Christine Lee, age 94 of Kingston Springs, TN died on January 3, 2024 at her home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 7, 2024 at the Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Clark giving the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Kingston Springs Cemetery. The visitation will be held on Sunday from 12:00 noon until the time of service.
Ms. Lee was born in Kingston Springs, in a house that had been built beside the road where she lived for her entire life. She was a daughter of the late Tommie D. Lee and Annie Flowers Lee. She graduated from Bellevue High School in 1947. She worked for 35 years as a telephone operator and retired in 1982. Her hobbies were reading, quilting, and working in the yard. She loved children, everyone’s children. Ms. Lee had studied the genealogy of the people of Kingston Springs, and the history of Kingston Springs. Her knowledge led her to become a storyteller of the town and its ancestors.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Deltie Lee, Earl Eason Lee, Robert E. Lee, Bessie Hows, and Marjorie Johnson.
Ms. Eva Lee is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
