Donald Hugh Sanders, age 55, of Dickson, TN, passed away on February 15, 2024.

Donald was born in Dickson, TN on February 22, 1968, to the late David Hugh Sanders and Dorothy Ann Wherry Sanders. He worked for the Frito-Lay Corporation for over 26 years and was the top seller in the southeast for many of those years. He was an avid golfer, Alabama Football Fan and Dallas Cowboys Fan. He loved coaching sports through the years including Little League, Soccer and Basketball. He was a former director of Above the Rim Basketball League. He was a proud member of the First Baptist Church of Dickson where he had served as a Royal Ambassador Teacher.

He loved National parks and wanted to see as many as he could. He enjoyed playing in as many golf tournaments as he could and would also raise money to play in the FCA golf scramble. Above all, he was a man that loved his family; he was a wonderful husband, father, and provider. He was extremely proud of his sons and daughters-in-law, but his greatest love was his wife; Elizabeth; he often said that he became the richest man alive because he was married to her. He will be greatly missed by many.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother; Daniel Sanders and sister; Ramona Vaive.

He is survived by his wife; Elizabeth Johnson Sanders of Dickson, TN, his sons; Drew Sanders (Emily) of Ashland City, TN, Ethan Sanders (Amanda) of Nashville, TN, mother-in-law, Vivian Johnson of Dickson, TN, sisters; Regina Bruce (John Pickett) of Dallas, TX, Reba Rye (Jim) of Warrior, AL, and several nieces and nephews.
